Zymvol Biomodeling SL is a privately-owned biotech company specialized in computer-driven enzyme discovery and engineering. Its vision is to catalyse the replacement of unsustainable chemical processes, which often use expensive and contaminating metal catalysts by clean and sustainable biocatalysts. Founded in 2017 and based in Barcelona, Spain, the Company has developed a proprietary software, ZYMEVOLVER, that accelerates and enables the discovery and development of new industrial enzymes. The team has extensive expertise in molecular modelling, programming and protein science, which allows to provide customers custom-made services that meet their exact needs.
The company has already secured 1.9M€ in public funding and has customers in 10+ countries and collaborates in different public research projects in Europe and USA.
